This health care liability case arises from an endoscopic ultrasound medical procedure appellant Damien Mallat, M.D., performed on appellee Reginald Reeves at Baylor University Medical Center. During the procedure, appellee aspirated the contents of his stomach into his lungs causing him severe medical complications.
