Procedural History

Rodney Peterson was terminated from his position as a truck driver for BL II Logistics, L.L.C. (BL). Peterson applied for unemployment benefits; the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) ruled Peterson ineligible for benefits. However, when Peterson appealed that ruling to the TWC's appeal tribunal, the TWC reversed its prior decision and found Peterson eligible for benefits. BL then...
