Following the denial of his motion for new trial, John Breland appeals his convictions for rape, aggravated child molestation, kidnapping with bodily injury and cruelty to children. He contends that the trial court improperly allowed similar transaction evidence at his trial, improperly used similar transaction evidence in sentencing him, and erred when it did not allow him to introduce expert witness testimony at a hearing on his motion for new trial...
