The defendant/appellant, Genaro B. Gonzalez ("Gonzalez"), was charged on 18 May 2005 with one count of attempted second-degree murder. He entered a not guilty plea on 24 May 2005. On 22 July 2005, Thomas "Tommy" Williams appeared as an interpreter for Gonzalez, and a preliminary hearing was conducted. The court rendered its ruling on 28 July 2005, finding probable cause. Following a jury trial on 8 November 2006, Gonzalez was found guilty...
