J. Kinson Cook of Georgia, Inc. ("JKCI") brought this lawsuit against Heery/Mitchell, a joint venture, and several other defendants seeking damages arising from a construction project. Heery filed a motion for summary judgment on all of JKCI's claims, which the trial court granted. JKCI appealed, but we remanded for the trial court's consideration of Heery's motion to dismiss the appeal based on JKCI's alleged failure to pay costs timely. Following...
