The plaintiff, Cherrie Leighow, and the intervenor, Kean's the Cleaners, Inc. (Kean's), appeal a judgment on a jury verdict in favor of Ms. Leighow, awarding her special damages, but no general damages, as a result of the accident at issue. Ms. Leighow and Kean's also appeal the trial court's denial of their subsequent motions for new trial or judgment notwithstanding the verdict (JNOV).
