The Defendant, Johnnie M. Lefear, was charged by bill of information with filing a false public record, a violation of La.R.S. 14:133. Following a bench trial held on December 5, 2006, the Defendant was found guilty as charged. On January 10, 2007, the Defendant was sentenced to fifteen months at hard labor, to be served concurrently with any other sentence and with credit for time served.
