STATEMENT OF THE CASE

¶ 1. Richard and Maria Swaney were married in January 2000 in the State of Ohio. Unhappy with the current state of their marriage, Maria in 2003 left the marital home and came to Mississippi. Richard soon after filed for divorce in Ohio; however, despite attempts to notice Maria at her last known pre-marriage address, she did not attend the hearing.
