KAPLAN, District Judge.

International dairy conglomerate Parmalat S.p.A. and its affiliates ("Parmalat") collapsed in scandal and filed for bankruptcy in Italy in late 2003. These actions are brought on behalf of the successors of two bankrupt Parmalat subsidiaries against a number of banks and accounting firms principally for helping conceal Parmalat's true financial condition, thus causing the subsidiaries to incur debt in reliance on misrepresentations...
