The defendants, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company ("RJR") and Publix Supermarkets, Inc. ("Publix"), appeal from an order denying their motion to dismiss based on forum non conveniens. We reverse.

The plaintiff, Wanda A. Carter, as Personal Representative of the Estate of Ronald D. Carter, Deceased, filed a products liability and wrongful death action against RJR and Publix, seeking damages for the death of Ronald D. Carter ("the decedent")....
