Pursuant to a negotiated agreement, the appellant, Jarvis Lamar Bridgett, pled guilty to first-degree unlawful possession of marijuana for other than personal use, a violation of § 13A-12-213(a)(1), Ala.Code 1975. The trial court sentenced him to serve a term of five years in prison, but suspended the sentence and ordered him to serve three years on probation.
