Pursuant to General Statutes § 53a-183(a)(2), a person is guilty of harassment in the second degree if "with intent to harass, annoy or alarm another person, he communicates with a person by . . . mail . . . in a manner likely to cause annoyance or alarm." In this case, the defendant challenges the sufficiency of the evidence to establish that he violated this statute by mailing letters containing civil pleadings to his former wife while he was incarcerated...
