Before the court are two motions in limine seeking a determination of the applicable law in this case. In determining the applicable law in this diversity case, the court must apply the conflict of laws analysis of the forum state, i.e., Louisiana. Louisiana uses an issue-by-issue analysis in deciding what state law is applicable to claims.
