This criminal appeal arises from the Fifth Judicial District Court, Parish of Franklin, State of Louisiana. The defendant, Quinton Brown, pled guilty to one count of second degree kidnapping and one count of carjacking. The trial court originally sentenced Brown to serve 25 years' imprisonment for the second degree kidnapping and 15 years' imprisonment for the carjacking, to be served concurrently.
