¶ 1. On January 7, 2005, James Gatlin filed a motion for post-conviction relief (PCR) pertaining to his February 7, 1992 conviction of armed robbery and capital murder. On March 3, 2005, the Circuit Court of Walthall County dismissed Gatlin's PCR as time-barred.
