George Nevitt is a lawyer who worked in a commercial office building owned and operated by CMD Realty Investment Fund IV, L.P. Nevitt brought this negligence action against CMD to recover for injuries sustained when he fell down a stairwell in the building. The jury returned a verdict in favor of CMD.
