A jury found Defendant-Appellant Anthony Fields guilty of drug related charges and of being a felon in possession of a firearm. At trial, Fields moved to suppress evidence found in his vehicle, which the police searched on three separate occasions around the time of his arrest. The district court denied Fields' motion to suppress the evidence, reasoning that the challenged search of Fields' vehicle was a valid search incident to an arrest. We...
