This class action arises from injuries allegedly sustained when the claimants were exposed to chemical fumes at New Iberia Senior High School (hereinafter referred to as "NISH"). Plaintiffs claim that fumes from certain chemicals used during a roofing project entered the school complex and caused injuries.
