The plaintiff, the Jewish Home for the Elderly of Fairfield County, Inc., brought this action on a probate bond pursuant to General Statutes (Rev. to 1995) § 45a-144(a) against the defendants, J. Michael Cantore, Jr., conservator of the person and estate of Diana Kosminer, and Continental Casualty Company (Continental), the surety on the bond.
