Claimant commenced the instant small claims action in the amount of $999 representing damages sustained for "loss of time from work" as a result of the New York City transit strike on December 20, 2005. Defendant Transport Workers Union of Greater New York, AFL-CIO, Local 100 (TWU) now moves this court for an order dismissing claimant's complaint.
