The defendant, Anthony Jones, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of attempted assault of a peace officer in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-167c (a)(1)1 and 53a-49 (a), and possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle in violation of General Statutes § 29-38.
