In this appeal from the Family Court of Ritchie County, we are asked to review an appeal by a parent who — in a separate proceeding in the circuit court — has been indicted for failing to pay child support. In the order being appealed, the family court refused to retroactively modify and eliminate a substantial portion of the parent's unpaid child support obligation, and refused to retroactively give the parent credit against that unpaid...
