Petitioner, an attorney, was convicted in 2001 of multiple counts of grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal possession of a forged instrument after he stole money from numerous clients (People v Crispino, 298 A.D.2d 220 [2002], lv denied 99 N.Y.2d 627 [2003]).
