In this appeal, the defendant East Haven Builders Supply, Inc.,1 a subsequent encumbrancer, seeks to set aside the judgment of strict foreclosure rendered in favor of the substitute plaintiff, Hamari Ventures, LLC,2 the holder of the first mortgage.
