A Lewis Circuit Court jury convicted Appellant, Fortune J. Williams, M.D., of four counts of unlawfully prescribing a controlled substance in violation of KRS § 218A.1404(3). For these crimes, Appellant was sentenced to twenty (20) years imprisonment. Appellant now appeals to this Court as a matter of right. Ky. Const. § 110(2)(b).
