I. INTRODUCTION

Six unnamed plaintiffs allege that they were subjected to childhood sexual abuse by a Catholic priest in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. They filed suit against the priest's former employers in 2003. The defendants filed a motion to dismiss based on the statute of limitations. The superior court held the motion in abeyance pending further discovery.
