THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, Respondent, v. MEI YING WANG, Appellant.

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Second Department.

Decided October 17, 2006.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Contrary to the defendant's contention, he was not denied the effective assistance of counsel. Viewing the record as a whole, we conclude that the defendant received meaningful representation (see People v Benevento, 91 N.Y.2d 708, 712 [1998]; People v Baldi, 54 N.Y.2d 137 [1981]).
