In August 2005, Appellant Willie Edward Morris was tried before a jury and convicted of the rape and kidnapping of L.L., a teenage girl. At trial, the State was allowed to introduce evidence concerning the rape and kidnapping of another victim, A.T., pursuant to Ark. R. Evid. 403 and 404(b)(2006). Morris was convicted on both charges, and because Morris was a habitual offender with two previous violent felony convictions, he was sentenced...
