The events that gave rise to this action relate to an incident that occurred in Richmond, Virginia. Plaintiff Queen Zepherin ("Zepherin"), a citizen of Alabama, purchased a ticket and boarded a bus of defendant Greyhound Lines Inc. ("Greyhound") in New York bound for Montgomery, Alabama.
