In these consolidated appeals involving a wrongful death medical malpractice action, defendants appeal by leave granted an order of the trial court denying their motions for summary disposition pursuant to MCR 2.116(C)(7) on the grounds that plaintiff's action was time-barred.1 Dr. Srinibas Mahapatra also challenges on cross-appeal the order denying summary disposition.
