In 1990, appellant Eugene Francis Cuypers was found guilty by a St. Louis County jury of first-degree premeditated murder and burglary. He was sentenced to a mandatory term of life imprisonment for the murder conviction and a concurrent term of 108 months for the burglary. On appeal from the judgment, we affirmed. State v.
