On direct appeal, we affirmed Donell King's convictions for first degree sexual assault, kidnapping, and robbery. State v. King, 269 Neb. 326, 693 N.W.2d 250 (2005) (King I). However, we determined that the district court erred in sentencing King as a habitual criminal and therefore vacated the sentences and remanded the cause...
