On March 10, 2005, a federal jury convicted defendant Edward Bellinger of one count of possession of a firearm by a felon, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). Despite defendant's failure to timely move for a judgment of acquittal or a new trial under Rules 29(c) and 33, I granted an extension to file these motions after finding excusable neglect under Rule 45(b)(1)(B).
