Plaintiff Michael David Newbro and defendants Lance Freed and Judith Fisher Freed each utilized Todd Eberhard, a now convicted thief, as their financial consultant. When the Freeds noticed an unaccounted shortfall in their account balance, they questioned Eberhard about the discrepancy. Eberhard told the Freeds that he had placed several trades on their behalf, but they were not yet reflected on the account...
