The defendants are charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree (Penal Law § 265.03 [2]). In an omnibus motion served and filed in Part 82, each moved to suppress the guns which were recovered from the glove compartment of the car that they were occupying or, in the alternative, for a Mapp hearing.
