In two issues, appellants Welch, James, and Bickerstaff assert error in the trial court's denial of their motions for summary judgment. In their motions for summary judgment, appellants sought judgment on the defense that appellee's claims are barred by governmental employee sovereign immunity under section 101.106 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code and common-law official immunity.
