This appeal and cross-appeal arise out of a dispute over child support. Donald W. Pate ("Husband") and Jane Dykes Pate ("Wife") were divorced in 1988. The final divorce decree incorporated a settlement agreement negotiated by the parties while Husband was enrolled in medical school.
