Appellant, Lawrence Preston Miles, was charged with the misdemeanor offenses of unlawfully carrying a handgun by a license holder (UCW) and driving while intoxicated (DWI). After the trial court denied his pretrial motion to suppress, appellant entered a plea of no contest for both offenses.
