The State charged Manuel Renteria with the felony offense of engaging in organized criminal activity, for which the jury found him guilty. After finding an enhancement paragraph true that Renteria previously had been convicted of a felony offense, the trial court sentenced Renteria to forty-five years' imprisonment.
