Plaintiffs commenced this medical malpractice action in May of 2004 alleging that Beth Israel Medical Center and Orli Langer, M.D. were negligent in their treatment of Cindy Lugo during her labor and delivery of Nyisha Lugo at Beth Israel in January 2002, causing the infant severe injury.
