¶ 1 We are asked here to review a forum selection clause in a multi-state contract under which a Washington resident, Carey D. Erwin, arranged the lease of several nursing homes in California and Texas for a California corporation owned by James F. Cotter. The contract specified that any disputes would be resolved under Washington law. Erwin sued Cotter in Washington to collect his commission, and the trial judge upheld the forum selection clause...
