CALABRIA, Judge.

Ms. M. ("respondent mother"), the mother of now four-year-old A.J.M. ("the minor child"), as well as two additional children, appeals an order adjudicating the minor child neglected. We affirm.

In June of 2003, the Halifax County Department of Social Services ("DSS") received a call indicating respondent mother inappropriately disciplined the minor child with a belt as punishment for hitting a playmate...
