A jury convicted appellant, Jesse Prather, of possession with intent to deliver more than four grams, but less than 200 grams, of cocaine. See TEX. HEALTH & SAFETY CODE ANN. § 481.112(a), (d) (Vernon 2003). After having found true two enhancement paragraphs alleging felony convictions for assault on a public servant and possession of cocaine, the trial court assessed appellant's punishment at life in prison.
