KITE, Justice.

[¶ 1] Jamie Stanton was convicted by a jury of bribery in violation of Wyo. Stat. Ann. § 6-5-102(a)(ii) (LexisNexis 2005). The district court sentenced him to six to ten years in prison with credit for 259 days served prior to imposition of the sentence. Mr. Stanton appeals, claiming the district court abused its discretion in denying his motion for acquittal when no evidence showed he was a public servant performing a governmental function...
