¶ 1 In this personal injury action, defendant/appellant Safeway Stores, Inc. appeals from a judgment entered on a jury verdict in favor of plaintiff/appellee Lydia Lopez in the net amount of $360,000 and from the trial court's subsequent denial of Safeway's motion for a new trial.
