Edward A. Sykes appeals his convictions and sentences in two separate cases from Sedgwick County District Court. In 04 CR 781, Sykes was convicted of misdemeanor theft and sentenced to 12 months in the county jail. In 04 CR 877, Sykes was convicted of possession of cocaine with intent to sell after a prior conviction and no drug tax stamp. He received a controlling sentence of 90 months' imprisonment.
