Defendant appeals his convictions of two counts of fourth-degree misdemeanor assault. ORS 163.160. We reject without discussion defendant's assignment of error on the trial court's refusal to give a requested jury instruction on the first count. Defendant also assigns error to the court's denial of his motion to suppress a statement that he made to the police in connection with the second count. We reverse and remand his conviction on the second count...
