This is an appeal from a conviction for the offense of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a chemical with the intent to manufacture. See TEX. HEALTH & SAFETY CODE ANN. § 481.115(a), (b) (Vernon 2003), § 481.124 (Vernon Supp.2005).
