CHAMBERS, J.
¶ 1 We must decide whether continuing trespass damages incurred after a case is filed may be recovered in the original action. This particular question has not been considered by this court before. The trial court awarded damages from three years before the action was filed until at least the time of trial, slightly more than six years.
