Defendant appeals his convictions for first-degree robbery, ORS 164.415, second-degree attempted robbery, ORS 164.405 and ORS 161.405, and first-degree attempted burglary, ORS 164.225 and ORS 161.405. He assigns error to the trial court's denial of his motion to suppress evidence of statements that he made to police during interrogation after he twice asked, "When can I call my attorney?" We agree that the trial court erred, and we reverse and remand...
